Our Return Policy

Everything regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges.

We taste and assess every product that makes it into our warehouse and eventually onto our shelves at Bishop's Cellar, or onto your table; whether that's at your favourite restaurant or in your own home. In the event that you feel you need to return a product for a refund or exchange, here's what you need to know:

Online purchases
  • Any item(s) ordered online that seem off or are not to your liking, please visit us in store on the Halifax Waterfront with your online order number and/or receipt and we'd be happy to exchange it for a new one or something similar of equal or lesser value. Alternatively, you can email our Customer Service Team at online@bishopscellar.com and we can issue you a refund that way, too.
  • Although we do our best to ensure our vans and our courier partners deliver all orders intact, we do occasionally experience breakages during delivery: for any item(s) that arrived broken or damaged, please email our Customer Service Team at online@bishopscellar.com and we can issue you a refund that way.
  • We take the necessary steps to ensure that all orders are checked before leaving our warehouse and store locations and unfortunately, these kind of errors are still possible: for any item(s) that were ordered but didn't arrive/are missing from your order, please email our Customer Service Team at online@bishopscellar.com and we can issue you a refund that way.
In store purchases
  • Any item(s) purchased in store that seem off or are not to your liking, please visit us in store and we'd be happy to offer you a refund or exchange of the same product or something of equal or lesser value. Please make sure you have your receipt handy.

Adjustments

  • Please note that during the tax holiday, there won't be any adjustments/we will not be refunding the HST to transactions purchased before December 14th, 2024.  If you wish to return your product for a full refund/exchange and as long as you have your receipt, the product is unopened, and is in good condition (resellable), we're happy to accept the return and provide you with a full refund.
