The Nova Scotia government is taking steps in response to the U.S. government’s tariffs on Canadian products.
Our Premier announced that the steps the government has taken in response to the U.S. government’s tariffs on Canadian products will remain in place despite yesterday’s announcement that President Trump has paused imposing these tariffs until April 2, 2025.The province has instructed the NSLC and its channels to remove shared US products from the shelves. Despite being provided the opportunity to sell through our remaining inventory, we stand firmly with the province and have removed all US-produced products from our shelves, not only in our retail store, but also from the larger wholesale licensee (bar and restaurant) segment of our business that accounted for 60% of our US product sales in 2024.
